Raritan announces Dominion SXII End-of-Life; ZPE Systems’ Nodegrid provides a supported upgrade path
9th October 2025, Manchester, UK – Following Raritan’s End-of-Life (EOL)
announcement for the Dominion SXII range (announcement: 2 June 2025; End of Sales:
31 December 2025; End of Support: 31 December 2027), ZPE Systems is supporting
customers with a straightforward transition to its Nodegrid serial console platform.
ZPE Systems’ Nodegrid Serial Console Plus – Core Edition (NSCP-Core) delivers familiar
functionality with modern enhancements including a secure Linux-based OS, integrated
5G options, automatic DCE/DTE and baud detection, SAML2 & TOTP authentication,
improved Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), and a broad choice of VPNs (OpenVPN, IPsec,
WireGuard) with models spanning 8 to 96 serial ports.
For customers consolidating management, Nodegrid Manager offers centralised,
secure out-of-band access and can discover and manage existing Dominion SXII
devices alongside ZPE Systems appliances – making the move practical and low risk
while advanced admin features for Raritan access devices continue to evolve.
ZPE Systems, a brand of Legrand since 2024, is headquartered in Fremont, CA, and
focuses on serial consoles and out-of-band management with global deployments.
A trade-in programme is available for customers moving from Raritan SXII or
competitive platforms to Nodegrid, helping offset upgrade costs.
